5. What Are the Advantages And Disadvantages Of Modern Education:

Advantages: If we use this technology, students will take their education more seriously. With modern education, students not only enhance their skills but also learn more quickly. As students, we have a lot of work to do. Teachers assign various projects, such as group work, which often requires us to visit a friend's house or meet our team at school or in a library. However, modern education allows students to simply log online and hold team meetings in a chat room or through social media.

Disadvantages: Modern education has its advantages and disadvantages. On one hand, students can learn a lot of new information without spending excessive time on research. However, some drawbacks negatively impact students and their learning experience.

Students often lack sufficient time to prepare for their classes. Nowadays, they are assigned an overwhelming amount of tasks each day. They receive information that they need to memorize rather than truly understand. They cram for exams, pass them, and then forget the material within a few months. Instead of helping students retain knowledge, educators primarily deliver lectures, and this is not entirely their fault.

Final Thoughts:

I believe we have sacrificed something important with the current trend towards “standardization” and the push for a “level playing field for all students.” This approach limits our ability to nurture and develop unique talents in individual students, as teachers are compelled to assess everyone in the same way. While this method may produce students who can navigate a bureaucratic system, it is detrimental to fostering exceptional abilities. That’s why standardized systems often fail to unlock the potential for creativity. They excel at creating uniformity but struggle to recognize and cultivate distinctive individuals.
